Blog Updated to WordPress v6.5.3 Leave a reply Just updated my blog to WordPress v6.5.3 which is a maintenance release that fixes 12 core bugs and 9 bugs in the Block Editor. As always, I backed up my files and database first. I have automatic updates disabled so I can do this beforehand. As I usually do, I updated the local copy on my PC before updating the blog here. My TwentyTwelve parent theme was not updated so I did not have to worry about anything affecting my child theme. So far the update seems to have gone well. ? Blog Updated to WordPress v6.5 Leave a reply Just updated my blog to WordPress v6.5 ( known as Regina” ) which contain a number of feature updates and performance improvements. I’ll let you read the release notes to find out more. As always, I backed up my files and database first. I have automatic updates disabled so I can do this beforehand. As I usually do, I updated the local copy on my PC before updating the blog here. My TwentyTwelve parent theme was updated to version 4.2 . Comparing files with the previous version, I found out I did not have to worry about anything affecting my child theme. So far the update seems to have gone well.
